Lincoln Community Lottery allocates £5k to crisis fund
28 April 2020
Following approval from the Lincoln Community Lottery Steering Group, £5,000 of the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund has been allocated to the Coronavirus Crisis Fund, which has been jointly launched by City of Lincoln Council and the Lincolnshire Community Foundation. The fund will provide financial assistance to local charities and community groups who are delivering essential support to those families and individuals facing hardship due to Covid-19.
The £5,000 from the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund has been raised by all supporters of Lincoln Community Lottery since August 2019. A big thank you to all supporters of Lincoln Community Lottery for helping to raise these funds.
For every £1 ticket purchased, 10 pence directly goes to support the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund. For those supporters which have chosen the Lincoln Lottery Community Fund as their allocated good cause, 60 pence of every ticket purchased directly supports this fund.
